As an integral part of the Human Resources department, the Compensation Analyst will administer, research and analyze the company's compensation plans and programs. This critical role will help create compensation philosophies, strategies and methodologies that drive performance and results through long and short term compensation practices.
You will work closely with the Benefits Administrator and the HR Generalist in providing guidance to employees and management regarding compensation programs while ensuring the utmost customer service. The Compensation Analyst will participate in or lead several key projects, including: design and administration of compensation programs and provide broad spectrum of compensation support to the organization. This position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.
Responsibilities
Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws governing compensation and benefit practices.
Evaluate and analyze salary data, determines pay grades, and conduct or participate in compensation surveys.
Collaborate with management on salary determination issues for new hires, promotions, transfers, changes, and other compensation actions: Analyze internal and external pay equity issues and provide options to alleviate employee equity issues.
Work in conjunction with HR department to prepare analysis and material for the compensation committee.
Work in conjunction with our external vendors and internal Finance organization to help manage our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Conduct job evaluations and may serve on job evaluation committees to ensure accurate and complete job descriptions for all company positions.
Utilize HRIS system to assist in maintaining salary grades, salary planning and performance review sessions: and develop compensation analyses reports for corporate, management and HR.
Partner with legal counsel to settle DOL and Wage and Hour cases when necessary
Work closely with the VP of HR to evaluate, review and select compensation plans and programs.

Required
Experience:
4-7 years compensation analysis experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
PHR/SPHR a plus
Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with extensive Excel experience
Strong analytical skills, communications (verbal and written) skills and problem solving skills
Ability to interact and consult with senior management
Focused on excellent customer service
