The Internal Training staff develops training materials and presentations to deliver new and existing concepts in the areas of payroll, tax, payroll software, and soft skills to internal employees. The key element to our approach is that clients receive consistent answers from all staff members. Weekly dedicated training sessions focus on specific topics and utilize documentation and role playing to foster retention of the subject matter.
The Training Department is a positive, dynamic team oriented environment. All team members must possess a positive and excited outlook. Trainers are looked to as an example of the company culture from the time a new employee begins throughout their employment with the company. Thus, attitude and outlook are critical characteristics in a trainer.
This particular role will have a focus on e-learning initiatives and development. Experience with e-learning principles and working with software such as Captivate or Lectora is greatly preferred!!
Performance Objectives/Job Duties
Work together as a team as well as independently to create training plans and materials either by enhancing existing materials or developing original documentation
Present and communicate effectively and tactfully with all personalities and help all employees understand and retain payroll and system knowledge and concepts
Evaluate trainees and communicate progress to respective managers
Coordinate with internal managers to ensure employees receive supplemental training when necessary
Continually seek out new ways of helping others and delivering training concepts
Create and disseminate client communication as needed
Develop methods to effectively train remote employees

Required
Experience:
Prior training experience is required, payroll experience is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively to a multitude of personalities
Strong writing skills and creativity are critical in order to develop training documentation, facilitate the presentation materials and develop new training concepts
Must have the ability to grasp new information quickly
Strong aptitude and desire for learning new concepts - things change all the time in payroll
Willingness to continually learn and relearn a variety of topics
Ambition and drive to help others
Ability to work independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite-Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Experience with the creation and delivery of distance learning-remote session presentation, e-learning, video
Experience with training evaluation process
