Billion dollar manufacturing company in the Northwest suburbs is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the corporate consolidations process. The position will involve gathering the consolidated financial data from the SAP BPC system and maintaining the reporting tool from month-to-month. This will include consolidating financial statements of foreign subsidiaries and ensuring that all reporting is done in accordance with US GAAP. In addition, the Senior Accountant will be expected to participate in the ongoing implementation of the BPC system over the next several months. They will act as one of the lead points-of-contact for the accounting team and be responsible for preparing the system at month end for the consolidation process. Responsibilities will include building new monthly reports as they are needed, some ad hoc reporting, and implementing FX rates for the foreign subs. This position will report to the VP/Corporate Controller and be a highly visible role within the finance/accounting team.
