Our assistant teachers work directly with three, four and five year olds and must be patient, nurturing, and dedicated to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all children.

Responsibilities Assist in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
This includes preparing materials and creating a classroom environment that supports learning.
Help ensure that the classroom is safe and secure, and that all children are treated with kindness and respect.
Assist in monitoring children's progress:
Help to assess each child's progress and help implement the curriculum as needed to ensure that each child is making progress.
Communicate regularly with parents and families as they see them throughout the day.
Work collaboratively with everyone at the school to ensue children's needs are being met.
Help create a positive and welcoming classroom environment.
Assist in managing classroom behavior and provide appropriate guidance and support to children who may be struggling with behavior issues.
Identifying and communicating concerns with other members of the school staff.
