This role is a newly created position, reporting to the Human Resources Director to support all facets of Human Resources, employee relations, recruiting and compliance; must be eager to learn and adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment to support and fulfill programmatic needs throughout all branches; will assist HR initiatives, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs (DEI), ensuring consistently in compliance, procedures and HR Best Practices.
This role is critical and visible, requiring knowledge of State and Federal employment laws; understanding of the strategic relationship between effective human resource management and core business functions.
Must be a team-player, effective verbal and written communication skills; computer savvy and experienced in HRIS/ATS; demonstrate problem-solving abilities to quickly remedy employee relation matters, ensuring confidentiality as a trusted advisor; required professionalism, respectful and courtesy, and the ability to maintain grace under pressure; a champion for learning new HR initiatives to assist the unification of processes, procedures, and best practices! Qualifications:
? Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience ? Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or equivalent ? A valid active driver's license, vehicle and auto insurance ? Required full-time, M-F, in office, and on-site ? Professionalism, strict confidentiality, tenacity, and adaptability ? Effective verbal and written communication skills ? Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint ? Reliable and punctual; collaborative, attention to details, organized and effective time-management Summary of Job Functions:
1.
Function as the primary Human Resources Generalist to support HQ and 6 branches 2.
Adhere to strict confidentiality in all aspects of employee and company information, data and matters 3.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations 4.
Communicate, interpret, and adhere to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct 5.
Ensure the safeguarding of employee files and records; ensure locked computer, files and records 6.
Monitor Human Resources emails; quickly accessing needs, respond, and or forward accordingly 7.
Diligently monitor the ethics hotline, recordings and reporting matters promptly to the HR Director 8.
Compile and run various HR reports, ensuring regulatory postings and the annual EEO-1 report 9.
Conduct employee references, reviewing background checks, and verification of employment 10.
Process unemployment claims; respond and follow-up to questions; compile records for hearings 11.
Assist with employee relations, complaints, and grievances, promptly notifying the HR Director 12.
Lead investigations, obtain statements and prepare detailed summaries of findings and violations 13.
Assist with employee benefits, injury reports, workers' compensation claims and leave management 14.
Partner with members of management to create a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs 15.
Assist separations, off-boarding and exit interviews; return company equipment and personal items 16.
Create memos, announcements, spreadsheets, presentations, and training materials for policies and DEI 17.
Performs general clerical duties to include, but not limited to copying, faxing, mailing, and filing 18.
Assist employee engagement and recognition, wellness programs, employee surveys and Let's Chat 19.
Other duties as directed by the Human Resources Director

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
