Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant.
Must be willing to travel between Arlington Heights and Grayslake, IL.
IV Sedation Monitoring Certification preferred.
$1500 SIGN ON BONUS and MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT FOR TRAVELWe are looking for a qualified Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our collective of premier dental practices.
The right applicant will have experience preparing oral surgery patients, ensuring that they are comfortable and offering another set of hands for procedures.
Assistants must help Oral Surgeons to clearly see problems and changes within a patient's mouth.
This often requires taking x-rays of the bone structure of a patient's jaw, as well as taking photographs of the teeth.
ResponsibilitiesHelp Oral Surgeons prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in placeHelp keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand the Oral Surgeon the necessary tools at the appropriate timePatient education; explain procedures and discuss treatment progress and plansThis position will include all aspects of clinical dental careRequirementsPrevious oral surgery chairside assisting is preferredCoronal polishing/sealant, and/or nitrous certifiedIV Sedation Monitoring strongly preferredCandidate CharacteristicsResonate with UDP's Core Values:
