We are hiring additional Behind the Wheel and Classroom Instructors to help us support our high student demand.
Are you also energetic and enthusiastic? Do you have experience motivating and coaching others? Are you a strong communicator? Are you passionate about teaching and others, especially teens? If the answer is yes to these questions then we would like to talk to you about being a Driver Education Instructor with Top Driver, the largest and most professional private driving school in Illinois.
We are looking for instructors who are willing to work Weekend Hours - both Classroom and Behind the Wheel.
The Driver Education Instructor position is very flexible - we work around your availability on a seasonal basis.
Both Full-Time (30
hours/week) and Part-Time (30
hours/week) positions are available in our convenient Arlington Heights classroom location.
Full-Time instructors are eligible for our full benefit package including PTO, paid holidays, health and dental insurance and a 401K matching plan.
Candidates with at least an ISBE substitute certificate (or those willing to obtain one) are preferred and will have an abbreviated training period.
A typical Instructor schedule generally includes a combination of after school, evening and weekend hours during the school year.
The ability to work Sundays is a definite plus.
Daytime hours may be available during the summer and holiday breaks.
Top Driver's own proprietary curriculum is designed to truly engage the student.
We provide the curriculum and educational tools but look to our instructors to make the sessions enjoyable and educational.
We take pride in our paid, advanced instructor training program and our instructors will not be working on their own with students until they are fully prepared and ready to do so.
Candidates must have a safe driving record and pass a background check and drug screen.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
