Overview:
Gentiva Home Hospice is looking for a Registered Nurse On Call to join our team in Arlington Heights, IL.
Weekend Schedule:
Friday at 5 PM through Monday at 8 AM (No case load and will manage the on call scenarios.
Will, also, be a visit RN with on call expectations) Full-Time, Full Benefits In addition, we are offering a $ 5,000 Sign-on Bonus Reports directly to the Administrator, Executive Director or Patient Care Manager Senior and will maintain primary control and professional management of each patientYou will act as primary liaison between physician, patient/family and hospice team.
Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient's family after normal business hours on an on-call basisManage an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and support staff to enhance the quality of hospice careEaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the plan of care for each patientMaintain all assigned patient clinical recordsParticipate in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs About You:
Compassionate, kind and empathetic to your patients and their familiesA current RN license (in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain)1
years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology preferred We Offer:
