Arlington Heights IL 60004 Role is Remote with possible onsite in the Arlington Heights area.
Should live within an Hour of Arlington Heights, Elmhurst, Skokie area This role is with a healthcare facility so person, should be vaccinated unless exempted and have a yearly Flu Shot required.
Salary $105K to $129K plus great benefits and Depending on experience Key Points of the role:
Cyber Security Engineer Lead Senior IT Security Engineer working with enterprise environments, complex security issues, over 5000 plus users.
Ability to lead security projects/ initiatives with knowledge of security systems able to investigate security alerts, project manage and work with other teams.
A bachelor's degree is a must.
Minimum of seven years progressively responsible experience in an Information Security or Infrastructure role supporting a campus wide environment with security infrastructure utilizing various tools and technologies.
Demonstrated strong working knowledge of Cisco or Palo Alto network switches, firewalls, content URL filtering, anti-spam, log/event management, vulnerability scanning and management, anti-virus/anti-malware IPSEC and SSL VPN technologies, load balancers and other network security management and monitoring software, IDS/IPS, Internal Penetration Testing.
Some demonstrated knowledge of risk assessment procedures, policy formation, role-based authorization methodologies, authentication technologies, and security attack pathologies.
Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred.
Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) security preferred.
Palo Alto PCNSE, CISSP, and Certified Ethical Hacker preferred.
Administrator-level knowledge of operating systems such as RedHat Linux and Microsoft Windows preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of technologies supporting DHCP and DNS services and Network Sniffing technologies a plus.
Successful experience in the following technology Security Practices:
auditing, planning, design, implementation, testing, and management Demonstrated Project Management and advance analytical skills.
The organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written, conflict and presentation skills necessary to effectively partner with people and manage complex projects.
The ability to work long hours during crisis situations and provide emergency phone and/or on-site support during non-standard hours as needed.
The understanding of the general technical details, capabilities, logical configuration and site specifics of the network infrastructure.
Does not necessarily need Healthcare Background.
Must participate with On-call duties rotational and being available during a security event ++++++++++++++++++++
Leader supports the organization by building out and managing an organizational IT Security and Risk Program with services to include Security Assessment and Authorization SA&A, security architecture and engineering, network monitoring, risk and threat management, Network Event and Information Security Management (SIEM), vulnerability management, Incident Response and Forensic Investigations.
The IT Security Program and Risk Management Leader impacts our customers by working with business, legal, privacy, compliance, and technical teams.

Researches, develops, promotes and implements training solutions.
2.
Continuously develops and refines the IT Security Program.
3.
Oversees the response to activities deemed to be improper or in violation of Information Security policies or HIPAA and PCI requirements.
Manages all IT incident responses and escalates issues as necessary.
4.
Develops short and long term goals related to cyber security, IT policies and procedures.
5.
Manages the security compliance program.
6.
Performs all aspects of project management related to IT system design, including detailed requirements gathering, development, implementation, and modification.
7.
Manages the active protection of Information Technology assets and infrastructure from external and internal threats and ensures that complies with statutory and regulatory requirements regarding information access, security, and privacy.
8.
Oversees the development of procedures to keep security infrastructure components up and running.
9.
Oversees the resolution of security problems between end-user devices and the network infrastructure, between various segments of the network, between different physical locations on the network and between the network and Business Associates' network.
10.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
