Huntington Learning Center in Arlington Heights is currently seeking math/science tutors to work with high school students and help increase their ACT/SAT scores! There's no better feeling than helping a student achieve their goals! With over 40 years of experience, Huntington is an accredited learning center offering a range of tutoring and test prep services.
Teaching for Huntington is an excellent way to satisfy an interest in teaching, even if you have pursued a career outside of education or are currently in a classroom.
Candidates that apply should be passionate about teaching and excited to see students succeed.

Implementing curriculum Communicating student needs with full-time staff Diligent record keeping of student progress Creating a positive, supportive and interactive environment for the students Applicants must possess the following qualities:
Strong reading, writing and verbal skills Professional and able to communicate clearly Responsible and dependable Enthusiastic and flexible Open to working with students of various ages and levels Ability to work with students in a 1 to 1 setting The Benefits of Being a Tutor at Huntington:
Evening and weekend hours available Flexibility of 8-25 hours depending on candidate's interest Differentiated instructional model providing individualized student programs Ability to teach students in a range of grade levels and subject areas There are no lesson plans to write or homework assignments to grade! Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor's degree.
Advanced education is a plus.
Teacher licensing is not required, but certainly a plus U.
